Who We Are
The Black Caucus of the Colorado Democratic Party is a recognized constituency body committed to empowering Black Democrats, advancing racial equity, and ensuring that Black voices are heard and represented at every level of political decision-making.
We serve as a vital link between Colorado’s Black communities and the Democratic Party’s leadership, structure, and policies. Our mission is rooted in solidarity. We stand together to confront the issues affecting our daily lives and to develop real, actionable solutions.
By educating voters on the power of civic engagement and elevating the concerns of our community, we aim to influence both the ballot and public policy. We energize activists across the state, register voters, amplify Democratic values, and engage with Colorado’s diverse Black communities to help drive turnout and support for Democratic candidates.
Together, we are building a stronger, more inclusive Democratic Party and a more just and equitable Colorado.
